A copy of your website or parts of your website can be downloaded as backup (in the form of a zip file), downloadable to your PC. In addition, a restore can also be made via the zip file backup.

We do not offer automatic scheduled backup, please perform backup in cPanel maually.

To add/modify your CNAME records:
1. Login to My Z.com (your user control panel).

A Service record (SRV record) is specified set of data in your DNS records to define attributes like the hostname and port number of your server(s). Users can define the specifications for "service", "protocol" and "port" respectively.

Please check the following for each input item:

Type: Please select "SRV".

Name: Enter your service name and protocol name in this format "_ (Service name). _ (Protocol name)".

TTL: A value that represents the expiry date of the packet. The smaller the number, the shorter the record retention time.

Point: Enter the host name of the target server. It may be described as "target", depending on the service used.

Priority: The priority to be referenced when the same content is entered for the host name.
Specify a value between 0 and 255, with the smallest value having the highest priority.

Weight: The priority specified for load balancing.
Specify a value between 0 and 65535. If you do not need load balancing, enter 0.

Port: Enter the port number to be used by your service.
Specify a value between 0 and 65535.

The maximum email size limit is 50MB (per email sent or received, inclusive of attachments).

You can specify the destination folder by selecting [Deliver to folder] in the email folder.
We recommend users to create a folder for spam files in their inbox (for each user) in file manager or FTP.

A sent email cannot be recalled as it will be delivered from our server to the destination server in real time.

It is usually not possible to recover deleted emails.

Alternatively, you may try the following:
1. Log into your corresponding web email account (the one which the email was sent out with).
2. Check if the email is retreivable from your web email. If it is unavailable, it means that the data is deleted from the server and cannot be restored.

Please be careful when deleting emails.

You can check the delivery status in cPanel
1.Click "Track Delivery" in "EMAIL" category after logging into cPanel.
2.Please confirm delivery status as 10days data is displayed.

Since the ratio of email and server capacity is not pre-determined, it is up to the user to manage how the server capacity limit is utilized; in this case, it can be used entirely for email.
Also, if you set the name server to Web Hosting information and use My Z.com's DNS record settings*, you can use web service and mail service in combination with other servers.
*DNS record setting requires information such as the server's IP address.

There is no capacity limit for each email address. I.e. It is possible to set unlimited / specified capacity limits.

System-managed folders and folders located in higher directories than the domain name folder cannot be deleted.

The domain name folder of which the homepage is uploaded to has the following structure:

When adding a domain, a directory (folder) of that domain name is automatically created.
The homepage is displayed by uploading the homepage data to the directory (folder) for each domain name.

No, robots.txt is not included in the system area (including the server's root area).
*For setup, please prepare robots.txt and install it in your domain name's directory.

If you are unable to upload files despite having connected to FTP, please refer to the following:

1. When using FTP software, connect to PASV mode (passive mode).

・FFFTP (Windows)
Select the "Advanced" tab on host setting and check "Use PASV mode".

There are no additional charges for the amount of data transfer transferred, but there may be restrictions on usage if the network or server is busy.

Vulnerable programs installed onto the server may lead to unauthorized access to a user's server, resulting in undesired actions like data rewriting, or installation of unauthorized programs may occur.

Installation of malicious programs may not only cause damage to users, but also their customers and relevant third parties.

In the event the following suspicious activities/programs are detected, we will limit your server use to ensure the safety and prevent inconveniences caused to other server users.

We recommend the following as precautionary measures and measures against unauthorized access.

[2] Application version upgrade
Please ensure that CGI / PHP programs (such as bulletin boards and forms), CMS (WordPress, etc.) and CMS plugins are continually updated to the latest version.

[3] Ensure your terminal (PC) is regularly scanned and checked for viruses and vulnerabilities with anti-virus and security software, and updated to the latest operating system.

[4] Password management

Yes, it is possible to do so. You will be required to opt for the one-time payment option during registration. Do note that you will not be able to change your plan type if you have opted for one-time payment.

You may choose from 6 months, 12 months or 24 months for one-time payment options.

"Manual renewal settings" is a renewal option for those who want to be in control of when to renew their web hosting plans. Once this setting is chosen, users will be required to manually renew the service, should they wish to continue. If renewal procedures are not completed within the respective due dates, the corresponding web hosting services will be cancelled automatically.

How to activate manual renewal:
1. Login to My Z.com (your user control panel).
2. Click on "Web Hosting" from the top tab of the page.
3. From your list of services you are currently subscribed to, click on the service you wish to update manually.
4. Click on "Server Information"
5. Toggle off "Automatic renewal" to deactivate.

With the same Z.com account, it is not possible to set separate payment methods for each service.

Please do so before 30 days from the expiration date.
