• Rules for Object Storage

  The rules for using object storage are as follows:

  【Size of one object】
  The maximum size of one single obect is 5GB.
  If you’d like to upload an object larger than that, you need to divide it beforehand (multi-part upload).

  【Number of container】
  The maximum number of containers is 100.

• See Information of the Connection Destination of an Object Storage

  You can confirm the API information at [API] on the left-side menu.
  The password for the API user is the password you entered when you create the user.

• Perform Object Storage

  To perform upload/download the object in the object storage, you can either use API, or client software.

  【Object storage administration by API】

  You can directly execute the operation of the object storage by using cURL or the like.

  【Object storage administration by client software】
  You can execute the operation of the object storage by using client software available for public, 
  For client software, you can use CLI based Python-swiftclient, GUI based Cyberduck, or the like.

• Add a Disk Space to an Object Storage

  You can add a disk space to an object storage in 100GB increments without any limit.
  Click on [Setup] to the right of the disk space in the object storage section, to add a space.
  This is an option with additional charge.

• What is Object Storage?

  This is distributed object storage service. You can store a large amount of data (object) with high reliability.
  The Stored data will be copied and stored in multiple cabinets at all times.
  It extremely reduces the possibility of losing data. You can rest assured that your data is secure.
